O Fangueiro is a multidisciplinary artist and creative director whose practice explores transformation through layered materiality, emotional residue, and abstract gesture. Currently the HEC at DSECTION Magazine and a creative at DSECTION Studio, Fangueiro works at the intersection of visual storytelling, fashion, and contemporary art.

In his paintings, he sculpts the emotional imprint of relationships and identity into textured surfaces using fabric, paper, and acrylics. These layered compositions blur the line between sculpture and painting, creating tactile memory-objects that speak to fragmentation, intimacy, and metamorphosis.

His work often reflects on the tensions between chaos and stillness, affection and absence, with each piece holding the ghostly trace of lived experience. 

Beyond his individual practice, Filipe continues to influence the visual direction of creative culture through DSECTION, where editorial and fine art sensibilities merge.
